Australia’s most beloved renovation superstars share their surfing adventures as they traverse the country in their Lotus Caravans Off Grid rig.
As a surfing family of four, travelling Australia’s coastline had been on the bucket list for a long time. Kyal grew up in Perth and spent his childhood frequenting the surf breaks around Margaret River, and as a family, Kyal, Kara and the kids were keen to explore north of Perth, all the way up to Exmouth. After years of renovating, the opportunity for adventure finally arrived, and WA was calling.
The family started their Lotus Caravans journey with an epic four-month road trip around WA. With a bank of memories they’ll never forget, a love of caravanning was born.
The Block favourites are now back on the tools – but not for long. When school holidays and long weekends roll around, Kyal and Kara hit the road to discover more of the country’s best surf spots with their Lotus Caravan in tow. For Kyal and Kara, this is freedom unlocked.
