As many of our customers may have already seen, some of the team here at Lotus Caravans have been having a fantastic time travelling across the North and West ends of Australia with the crew at What’s Up! Down Under (WUDU) as part of the filming of their TV program.

Not only did we get to take our luxury off-road caravans on a fantastic holiday and thorough road test; we were also lucky enough to be joined by the program’s guest co-host Michael Caton! There’s a good chance you remember Michael from his role in the classic Aussie movie The Castle - “Tell ‘im he’s dreaming!”

The story of our adventure aired October 3rd on Channel 10, but is still available for viewing online for a limited time via Ten Play. 

Words aren’t sufficient to explain the time we had, as I’m sure many of you will be able to understand from your own holidays. We swam with crocs, visited hot springs, hand-fed fish and spent some invaluable time with indigenous people learning aspects of their cultural traditions. 

We drove and drove and drove, had campfires, and soaked in the natural beauty of Australia’s varied landscape.

It was an incredible experience, and we’re already preparing for our next trip again.
