Re: G&S CHASSIS PRODUCT RECALL: Control Rider TS Suspension

Dear valued customer,

We write with important safety information regarding the suspension system fitted to your caravan.

Our records indicate that you have purchased a Lotus Caravan fitted with the G&S Chassis ‘Control Rider TS Suspension’.

Lotus has been advised by G&S Chassis that there are a small number of the early production units of these suspension systems showing signs of a trailing arm weld failure.  We therefore strongly recommend that you immediately stop towing your caravan until it can be determined whether the suspension system fitted is affected by the G&S recall.

As manufacturers of the suspension system, G&S Chassis are managing the recall process. As such, we urge you to contact G&S Chassis’ Warranty Manager as soon as possible on 03 9357 0227 (quoting the G&S Technical Service Inspection No 17-01) in order to conduct an appropriate assessment and, if necessary, effect repairs to the suspension system.
