Made in Australia, for Australians
For more than two decades, Lotus Caravans has shaped the way Australians see Australia. Our caravans are built to last a lifetime, because they’re made by people who live the life themselves. Every model begins with real experience, and every improvement comes from something learned on and off the road. It’s a manifesto that has stayed consistent since the beginning, and it’s the foundation of our all-new 2026 range.
This release brings together years of testing, engineering and refinement, all shaped by the places Australians travel and the way they travel them. The line-up is clearer, stronger, and more focused than previous years, with models built for remote tracks, long regional loops, coastal touring and everything in between. It’s a range made for Australian conditions and built entirely on Australian soil, supported by a family who still treats every caravan as if they were towing it themselves.
The 2026 range is Lotus Caravans at its most deliberate. Purpose-built, capability-led, refined without losing the toughness we’re best known for. Each model carries its own identity, and each serves a different type of traveller, but they all share the same DNA. Strong materials, smart design, high-performance systems, and an understanding of what it takes to tow across this country with confidence.
Introducing the 2026 Line Up
An early release that nobody saw coming, our 2026 range marks one of the biggest shifts in Lotus Caravans’ history. For years, the line-up stretched across several off-road models. This year, we’ve taken a completely different approach.
The new range strips everything back to what travellers told us matters most to them. The off-road models each hold a clear role in the family. The lightweight Off Grid is for easier towing. And the three-tier Trooper series, moving from a refined core model through to the most capable, most luxurious off-road caravan we’ve ever built.
Every off-road model is now part of one connected family, built on the same engineering backbone, and refined at three distinct levels of performance.
Alongside them sit two signature on-road models designed for long-distance comfort and touring, for both families and couples.
The 2026 range is a tighter, smarter, far more deliberate line-up.
The Off-Road Range
The off-road range has always been the heart of Lotus Caravans. This year, we have reengineered the range completely.
For 2026, the entire family carries:
- A full AL+ aluminium frame
- Marine-grade composite panels
- Advanced suspension
- Upgraded REDARC systems
- Refined LC Customs packages as standard
- Enhanced interior specifications
- Honeycomb flooring

Trooper
The Signature Off-Road Caravan
The Trooper remains the core of the Lotus Caravans off-road range. Built on our new S&M Chassis A-frame design with drop-goose-neck for easier hitching, it delivers dependable performance across tough Australian landscapes.
Inside, it balances durability with comfort through Newline’s leather seating, rainfall benchtops, quality appliances and smart storage. Powered by 400 Ah of lithium, a 3000 W inverter and 850 W of solar, it supports long stays away from powered sites.
With a huge selection of 20 floorplans ranging from 18’9″ to 24’6″, the Trooper suits singles, couples and families who want proven capability without unnecessary complexity.

Trooper TRX
Built for Travellers Who Go Further
The Trooper TRX pushes deeper into remote-country capability. Its electrical system is significantly larger, with 600 Ah of lithium, dual 3000 W inverters and up to 1250 W of solar for extended off-grid living. The new X-Guard chassis protection and ATX air suspension provide added stability and control across challenging terrain.
The Trooper TRX introduces larger ensuites, upgraded finishes and optional club lounge seating. It’s made for travellers who tow heavy, stay out longer and want comfort and confidence well beyond the bitumen.
The Trooper TRX offers 20 different floorplans from 18’9″ to 24’6″.

Trooper Platinum
The Apex Off-Road Model
The Trooper Platinum brings together the highest level of engineering, power and interior refinement in the Lotus Caravans off-road range.
It carries the full LC Customs suite, premium body styling and Boss Aluminium storage as standard. Powered by 900 Ah of lithium storage, twin 3000 W inverters and up to 1450 W solar array, it offers serious off-grid capability.
It delivers a residential feel inside, with Thinscape benchtops, Newline’s leather upholstery, diesel heating, a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher and spacious layouts. It’s the choice for travellers who want maximum comfort and performance in remote conditions, and frankly, there’s nothing quite this impressive on the market.

Off Grid
Lighter Weight, Full Capability
The Off Grid is built for travellers who want genuine off-road capability in a lighter, more versatile package. Now designed for more flexibility with tow vehicles, it carries the same AL+ frame and composite construction found across the off-road range, supported by XT airbag suspension. The electrical system includes 300 Ah of lithium, a 3000 W inverter and up to 750 W of solar, suited to both weekends away and extended trips.
With 7 layouts across couples and families floorplans, the Off Grid delivers strength, comfort and easier towing without compromising on signature Lotus Caravans style.
The On-Road Range
While the off-road range leads the engineering story, the on-road models continue to play an important role for travellers who spend most of their time on highways, coastal routes and long regional drives. Our on-road touring models have been refined for 2026 with improved material selections and a calmer interior feel that suits long-distance touring.

Transformer
Versatile, Comfortable Family Touring
The Transformer remains a trusted favourite for on-road family travel. It’s easy to tow, well-balanced, and shaped for travellers who want comfort without complication. The updated layouts deliver better flow through the living spaces, improved storage, modern appliances and a relaxed interior style suited to everyday touring. For families looking for a dependable van that’s simple to use and comfortable to live in, the Transformer continues to deliver exactly what people love about on-road caravanning.

Hollywood
Premium Comfort for Long-Haul Couple Travellers
The Hollywood is our most refined on-road model, designed for couples and solo travellers who value space, comfort and a residential feel on the road. Larger living zones, generous seating and entertainment features make it ideal for extended stays and coast-to-coast touring.
The 2026 updates bring cleaner finishes, upgraded fittings and a more considered layout, creating a van that feels hyper luxurious from the moment you step inside. It’s the model for travellers who want to enjoy life on the road with all the small comforts of home still built in.
